In place of wedding gifts, we're inviting everyone who would like to, to participate in our registree to make a shared orchard on our future farm. There's a link below to select the tree or trees you would like to contribute. Each registree will get a beautiful, permanent copper tag for the person that contributes it so as they grow we can remember you (or the person the tree represents if given in memory), and all participants will receive a box of fruit once a year when the orchard or your tree is at its peak. We put together a dream list of trees here. Where the count is greater than one, we have a few different varieties on our wish list, or the tree is more prolific with a second tree of the same type. Strange fruits in large part brought us together - we sent them back and forth during COVID, have traveled around to track them down - and hope now that they can continue to help bring and keep all of us together and connected in time as the trees grow and change. One of our big life goals together is to start a research institute for sustainable ag and we would love these trees to be the first in the ground once we find and buy the land.
